Pete Muñoz, PE, LEED AP
Co-Founder / Engineering Director

Pete directs all engineering and design projects and has a major role in SEEDS' day-to-day activities. Pete is a licensed Profession Engineer (#53722) in Michigan and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional. He is also a Michigan certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (#5341). Pete has worked with a variety of engineering and design firms on environmental investigation, bioremediation, and wastewater treatment projects. He received a BS in Biosystems Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Studies from Michigan State University and a MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont. Much of Pete's current work involves constructed wetlands, water reuse, and greywater treatment systems. His other interests include natural building and design, traveling, and maple sugaring.
