These days, a fluency with the ever-expanding resource of remotely-sensed information is crucial to many stream and river studies. EDC staff combines an understanding of available data and a proficiency with the tools (e.g., GIS and statistical software) needed to synthesize data into meaningful information. EDC has experience with many forms of remotely-sensed data including aerial and ortho-photos, LIDAR, and various landcover datasets.
