Design
EDC’s restoration philosophy is to compensate for human impacts by working
with a stream or river’s natural regenerative processes to re-establish a sustainable
balance between human needs and a thriving ecosystem. With this philosophy in mind,
any one restoration design is tailored to meet project-specific goals and constraints.
EDC has considerable experience with the design of bank stabilization measures and
engineered logjams.
